Action Plan: Moving Forward Together
We are committed to turning your feedback into meaningful action. The 2024 Employee Survey has given us valuable insights, and we’re excited to share our action plan to address the areas where we can grow together.
Key Areas of Focus:
1. Improving Feedback on Progress (Lowest Score: 3.9)
Objective: Enhance the frequency and quality of feedback regarding employee progress and increase the visibility and recognition of employee contributions.
Actions:
Ramp Up Manager Training: We will enhance our training programs for managers, focusing on effective feedback techniques that are both constructive and motivational.
Quarterly Recognition: Starting this quarter, we will introduce quarterly core value certificates at each location. These will be accompanied by a company-wide text announcement and a special post on Gear Hub, celebrating employees who exemplify our core values. Managers will also personally congratulate recipients, presenting their certificates.
2. Valuing Opinions at Work (Score: 4)
Objective: Strengthen the mechanisms for incorporating employee feedback into our decision-making processes.
Actions:
Regular Employee-Manager Meetings: We will work to increase the consistency of 1-on-1 meetings between managers & their employees.
Digital Suggestion Box: A new digital suggestion box will be made available on Gear Hub, allowing employees to share anonymous input. We’ll also promote this tool through posters with QR codes in breakrooms, making it easy for everyone to contribute their ideas.
Timeline:
August 2024:
Launch enhanced manager training
Initiate quarterly recognition program.
Roll out the digital suggestion box and begin regular employee-manager meetings.
Engagement and Follow-Up:
Employee Involvement: We encourage all employees to actively participate in these initiatives and the yearly employee experience surveys. Your continued feedback is essential to our ongoing improvement.
HR Visits: During HR visits, the HR Manager will ask for your feedback on these initiatives, ensuring that your voice continues to shape our workplace culture.
